Sandy Treasure is an OCEANFRONT house located in the quiet community of Sanderling in Duck. The community provides access to the pristine, private beach, free access to a shared pool, and use of the tennis and pickleball courts for a small fee (paid at the clubhouse - located 1 mile north). Sandy's entire interior was completely renovated before the 2025 season to provide a true luxury oceanfront experience. Complete with a newly remodeled master bedroom located alone on the top floor with a large walk-in dual rain-head master shower, double vanity, and separate water closet for the toilet. The remodeled kitchen provides tons of counter space and beautiful ocean views, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a wine fridge, an additional drink fridge, a 2nd sink in the large island, and fully stocked with quality cookware and kitchenware. Enjoy all the ocean views through the MASSIVE amount of windows and open floor plan in the family room, which shares space with the dining table and is next to the kitchen. Leading from the kitchen is the game room waiting to create fun memories for the entire family. Everyone will enjoy Golden Tee and Pac-Man arcades, foosball, and a closet filled with more games and books. The house includes three king bedrooms with comfortable gel memory foam mattresses and one room with two sets of bunk beds with the same mattresses. The ocean access is on the north (left) side of the house.

Welcome to Sandy Treasure beach house located in the quiet, Sanderling neighborhood in Duck. The entire home was just renovated to provide a luxury oceanfront experience (hang with us as we get the furniture in and new photos uploaded). Enjoy the relaxing open floor plan with ocean views while cooking, eating, or relaxing in the living room. The game room is fun for the whole family and right off the kitchen - more views of the ocean. There are three king bedrooms with comfortable gel memory foam mattresses and one double bunk room with the same mattresses (our guests constantly ask us where we got the mattresses all the time). The ocean access is on the north side of the house (left of front stairs). There are a number of great restaurants close to the house by either bike or car.
There are several amazing restaurants and shopping within close proximity to the house. You are only a few miles from Duck Village, which has tons of great restaurants and shops. You are a few miles to Corolla shops and restaurants.
Guests staying in Sanderling can enjoy a plethora of community amenities located at the clubhouse 1 mile north of the house, including a large community pool with lap lanes for free, and tennis and pickleball courts for a small fee paid at the clubhouse. The community pools are available as a comfort stop for guests who arrive before their check-in time on arrival day.
The Sanderling community provides four (4) beach access walkovers for daily beach activities, in addition to the private access at the house. Sanderling beaches are very dog friendly - be sure to clean up and keep your dog on a leash. You're bound to see various birds, deer, lizards, and possibly even horses or sea turtle nests (be sure to leave them alone!)
Sanderling offers a unique opportunity as a bird sanctuary here in the Outer Banks. Behind the "Sanderling" entrance sign is a nature path that leads to a dock for launching a kayak, canoe, or SUP on the Currituck Sound. You may also bring along a fishing pole to try your luck at catching something. You'll see a variety of native bird species, seasonal nesting ospreys, as well as magnificent sunsets. Sanderling is truly a sound-to-sea community.
Sanderling also has a series of nature paths that meander throughout the community where you may walk, bird watch, and observe the beautiful landscape.
